T-34-57(1943) Soviet Tank

The T-34-57 (1943) was a proposed revival of the Soviet T-34 armed with the high-velocity 57 mm ZiS-4 anti-tank gun, designed to penetrate enemy armor at long range. Based on the improved T-34 chassis, it would have combined the tank's mobility and sloped armor with enhanced anti-tank firepower. However, the 1943 designation is not a well-established standard production variant, and the T-34-57 remained a limited design compared with the more widely used 76.2 mm-armed T-34s.
