Vishnu beneath the Prabhavali

This classic Chola-style bronze shows Vishnu standing in calm samabhanga within an ornate prabhavali crowned by a kirtimukha and flanked by makara scrolls. Four-armed, he raises the chakra and shankha in the upper hands; the lower right offers abhaya while the lower left steadies the gada resting near the pedestal.
