Vishnu on Garuda

This striking model presents Garuda-vāhana Vishnu: the four-armed Preserver deity stands poised on a devoted, humanoid Garuda whose hands join in añjali while colossal wings flare into a living aureole. Vishnu wears a tall kiritam and bears his emblems—chakra and śaṅkha aloft, with gadā and padma completing the quartet—set above a double lotus pedestal.
