Octagon knob with heat-set insert M3 - clamping knob, 4 sizes 16/20/25/30 mm, no supports

Eight flats. Twelve would have been invisible - the faces would sit less than one percent below the circle. Eight sit at 92.4 percent, and that you can see and feel. Bored 4 mm for a standard brass heat-set insert M3. Melt it in with a soldering iron at about 220 C and let it cool under light pressure.
